Roos Chirino, born in Oisterwijk, felt a love for painting from a very young age. From the first moment she could hold a brush, both her grandmothers helped her learn painting. It was therefore a logical consequence that she chose Art in school. Here she has learned many different techniques and painted her first official painting on canvas with acrylic paint. She eventually graduated from Architectural Interior Art and then started studying in Tilburg.
After all studying, Roos wanted to discover the world. She did a lot of inspiration in Africa and got to know her love for fabrics. She asked one of the local ladies in a typical Ghanaian container shop to learn how to sew her and later made the most beautiful Sunday dresses for the girls of the village. Since they find it hard to get canvas to paint on in Africa, she came up with the idea to combine paintings and fabrics. To let her two loves fall together. Roos is convinced that every painting has a matching fabric to reinforce the painting.
This great success was told in many assignments. Portraits are her specialty.
In addition, Chirino paints the confident image to inspire others.
