NOËL HARIRI

Noël Hariri is the artist behind Artnoel.nl She lives in Groningen and studied at both the Art Academy Minerva (2004) and the Pedagogic Academy (2008).

As a four year old girl, she dreamt of being an artist and was interested in creating and learning as much as she could about art. She has always followed her heart, which is the reason why she began her art business after completing her study at Minerva. Throughout the years, she has worked at developing her skills in order to become the authentic person she is today.

The paintings are humorous, colour-rich, happy, and full of fantasy. If you look closely, you will notice a “mistake” in every painting: disproportional cities, incorrect compositions, etc… The paintings also incorporate “found materials”, like old newspapers, buttons, and various other materials. These allow Noël to create incredible works of art. For every piece, Noël combines mediums such as crayon, pencil, ink, acrylic paint, stamps, varnish, paper, coffee, and fabric. These designs are created from different layers, which makes the end result interesting, original, and exciting.
