NATASHA UDOVENKO

Natasha is a Ukrainian born artist, living and working between Leiden and Amsterdam (The Netherlands).

Prior to coming to Amsterdam, she lived in several countries, including UAE, Seychelles islands and Ukraine. Undoubtedly, these experiences affected her perception of the world, and when she moved to Amsterdam, in 2015, she left her corporate life behind and pursued art full time.

She works mainly with watercolours and she loves using bold colours in practically every painting. She depicts Amsterdam in a whimsical style and the reason for it is that even though its houses and canals barely changed throughout the centuries – the vibe in the city is never boring or the same. Natasha has fun with colours as much as she has fun walking around the city inhaling the creative vibes. No houses are the same, no feeling is the same when you are in Amsterdam. It is her ode to the city.

She also dedicates a chunk of her work to flowers & endangered animals as she paints them and shows their beauty and power. The intention is to spread the message about the damage being done to the environment in our world today.
Natasha’s paintings are created in order to give people joy and hope, but also to make them think of a difference they can make in the world.
